Jasmine Chen

Jasmine Chen, Ph.D., is a Columbia-trained genomics scientist and Stanford LEAD alumna with 13+ years of experience spanning discovery research, translational science, and commercial strategy. Her career includes eight years at Genentech/Roche and leadership as Director of Genomics, with deep expertise in single-cell and spatial multi-omics, molecular diagnostics, and CNS and psychiatric disease biology. She has contributed to 70+ single-cell projects, authored 32 scientific publications—including work in Cell, Nature, and Nature Medicine—and built scientific programs from the ground up, bridging complex biology with scalable clinical and commercial applications.
